Our commitment to conservation
ALL OUR SAFARIS ARE ECO-SENSITIVE
TO THE LOCAL ENVIRONMENT, WILDLIFE AND PEOPLE
WITH A PERCENTAGE OF PROFITS BEING RETURNED TO
LOCAL CONSERVATION EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY PROJECTS.
Nyanja Safaris has a commitment
to supporting conservation in Zambia to encourage
the promotion of sustainable utilization of the
native Flora and Fauna to benefit the local people
and thus ensuring the future of the African wilderness
for the enjoyment of all those who have an interest
in Africa and its environment. To this end our
profits are returned to local conservation, anti-poaching
and educational projects. Our clients are also
invited to make personal donations to local projects
in the areas / lodges that they visit.
Nyanja Safaris philosophy:
We only use Operators who manage
or support a local Conservation or Community program
such as a local village school, tree planting
program or anti-poaching efforts.
Nyanja Safaris has a commitment
to pledging its support in Zambia to encourage
the promotion of sustainable utilization of the
native Flora and Fauna to benefit the local people
and thus ensuring the future of the African wilderness
for the enjoyment of all those who have an interest
in Africa and its environment. Nyanja Safaris
also feels strongly about supporting many other
Educational & Local Community which most Lodges
run within the local community.
our philosophy is simple:
To encourage awareness of Conservation
and Community projects with our clients and encourage
their involvement. We want to ensure that the
benefits of tourism are returned to the local
conservation & community projects that our
clients have the privilege to visit. ALL the safari
operators that we use have their own charitable
programs such as building & supporting village
schools, anti poaching assistance, community health
care, village water supply, conservation education
projects, tree planting programs etc. which are
often reliant on donations and are imperative
to the success of the local wildlife and community
welfare.
Our intention is to promote Africa
in a positive and informative manner; to encourage
client involvement and local self reliance by
encouraging the promotion of local employment,
improving education availability, development
of traditional skills & crafts and thus ensuring
a sustainable future for the local people all
of which is dependant on the preservation of the
local wildlife and environment.
