Fishing safaris
Zambia is renound for its excellent
fishing. Particularly Tiger fishing on the Zambezi
where sports fishermen come from all over the
world to catch the ferocious Tiger fish. The Kafue
river and the Lunga river also offer excellent
fishing. Probably the best known Fishing Safari
destinations are the Lower Zambezi, Lake Tanganyika
and Lake Kariba.
The beauty of fishing
safaris or at least spending perhaps
on morning fishing as part of your wildlife safari
is watching the wildlife come down to the waters
edge to drink or cross over as you drift along.
