Tanzania
A land that has long been known
as a tourist destination, especially in the northern
famous parks, such as the Serengeti and Ngorongoro
Crater and of course Kilimanjaro, Africa's tallest
Mountain. This part of Tanzania can not be ignored
and is to many the 'vision' of Africa they have
always dreamed of - Vast grass plains, acacia
trees, huge herds of antelope, the mighty migration,
thunder filled African skies, the snow-capped
Kilimanjaro mountain in the background of a herd
of big tusked elephants.
Northern Tanzania is undoubtedly
truly beautiful and quintessentially 'AFRICA'
but sadly some of the wilderness atmosphere has
been lost in some of the 'busy' locations. Nyanja
Safaris works with specialist small operators
who offer a more personal service with small remote
or mobile camps away from the busy 'tourist' lodges.
Nyanja Safaris offers the remote
Tanzania. We tend to concentrate more on the southern
and western reserves – all of which are
very different in character are wilder & quieter
to those of the North. The wilderness is pristine
and visitors scarce with excellent wildlife areas.

South Circuit
In the Selous and Ruaha National Parks game
is prolific, and you’ll often find
animals wandering through camp. There are
large populations of buffalo, elephant,
wildebeest, giraffe, lion, leopard and wild
dog. The rivers are alive with fish, crocodiles
and hippo. |

The
