Lunga River Lodge
This remote rustic camp has everything
is set on the banks of the beautiful Lunga River.
There are six well decorated thatch chalets with
en-suite facilities ( 12 beds ). There is a pool
and a bar with sun deck suspended over the river.
An elevated private dinning area for a romantic
evening meal under the stars as well as the main
dinning room. You can sit quietly in the reading
room or relax in the steam room or even enjoy
the massage facility. Activities include, day
and night game drives, river cruises, fishing,
canoe safaris and walking safaris.
Accommodation:
Twelve guests in six well appointed thatched roof
chalets with en suite shower, flush toilet, and
vanity basin. Lighting is by 12 volt lamps, candles
and kerosene lamps.
Facilities: Bar with sundeck
suspended over the river, elevated dining room,
reading room with extensive reference library,
plunge pool, steam room, and massage facility.
Activities: Day and night game
drives in open Landrovers, walks, canoe trips,
river cruises and bream fishing.
Season: June to November inclusive
Habitat: Miombo woodland, riverine
forest, and grassland.
