zambia - victoria falls
Livingstone in the south of
Zambia, home to the mighty Victoria Falls is also
known as the 'Adventure Capital' of Africa. Victoria
falls is Zambia's most famous and popular destination.
When you are stood in front of the 'Thundering'
waters getting soaked by the spray, its obvious
to see why. The shear enormity and power of the
mighty "Mosi-o-Tunya" ( Smoke that thunders
) have made it one of the Seven Natural Wonders
of the world. As a tourist destination, the Livingstone
area is very well developed. There are Luxury
five star hotels by the falls and set on the banks
of the Zambezi luxury River Lodges, camp sites.
The town of Livingstone is steeped in History
with a very worthwhile Museum to visit.
Victoria Falls has become 'the'
center for adventurous destinations through the
whole of Africa, with the worlds most dangerous
commercial white water rafting, the worlds second
highest bungee jump, the famous Batoka Gorge-swing
and High wire 500 ft over the Zambezi River, micro-light
